Beautiful work Andrew! So the finish is just a single coat of colourtone then some TO over the top?

Thank you everyone for your kind words.

I've fixed up the tone pot but seem to have created an earthing issue. I think I've gone through the braided shielding from the input so next thing to diagnose..

Apart from that plays well and intonation is almost spot on!

Cheers Wokka. These are vintage Kluson tuners w/conversion bushings so can be used in 10mm tuner holes. I like these as they keep the face of headstock very clean due to no screw in bushings

Next build will be the ash tele kit - as a Telecaster! I was going to 'Esquire it' but have since converted another butterscotch tele of mine to an 'Esquire'.

be interested to hear how the Kluson tuners keep tune. They look great and look very Gibbo-ish (is there such a word? haha).
$52 for a set is pretty good value

next build sounds interesting, the ash tele's can come up really nice which I'm sure yours will

Kluson tuners are top notch, in fact all of my guitars will most likely rock a set!
