I absolutely cannot WAIT for my IB7 to arrive in March. The wait has been killing me.
That's a djlicious looking axe man, that quilt and the finish are amazing.
X2 on the wait killing me. If my cap looks as good as this I'll be stoked.
Stunningly beautiful, has come up a treat with the Tru Oil and the quilted top is to die for! How many coats of Tru Oil are you stopping at? Reason I ask is on my latest build I've hit 4x coats and looks like ready for polishing. On previous builds have used up to 10+ coats. I suppose it all depends on how the wood takes the oil.

@andrewo is four coats so far. Probably look at another six or so then buff and polish fairly hard
