What do you get when you have a heap of bits lying around and some time to spare? Well, truth be known, it could be anything.
BUT... I have a couple of small cigar boxes so I decided to turn one into a mini-amp.
Build time - about an hour and a half.
Sound? Definitely squeezed.
Fidelity? Questionable.
Cool Factor? Mega.
That is FREEKIN INSANE, who cares what it sounds like, ultra mega cool!!!

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....
That's Awesome Lawry. Compared to a lot of the factory battery powered amps yours has a cool factor x 10.

The DASH-CBG (Dirty Angel Smokin' Hot Cigar Box Guitar) now has a pickup. I had a Belcat piezo rod and preamp from a ukulele and it was perfect for this build.
