    Getting there.

    I think the neck is done, and will just need Wudtone top coats. The front needs a little more reddy goodness, but I am happy with the burst blend.

    One of the benefits of Shellac is that you can wipe it off with a bottle of metho. BUT. Shellac is a lot harder to get a nice even coat with My es335 RAW kit has become a nightmare with getting a nice even colour. I've even tried spraying shellac on it. 'BG' if you are reasonably happy then leave it. experience with trying to go that extra step with colour is that it rarely works out how you want it.

    Well, I am committed to leaving it as is now. I have started to scrape the binding clean so I won't be tempted to meddle anymore.
