I'm mixed on this one. It makes a pretty strong statement as is but highlights might look cool when the stage lights hit it.
Anyway, if you don't slow down on your hot builds you'll start making us ( well, me) feel second rate ;-)

I ended up putting a coat of silver highlights on the cap, pretty happy with the results in the right light they can be seen. Also got final base coat of hot auburn on the back/sides and a coat of extra gloss aged coat on. Photos were taken late in the arvo but the flames are starting to pop. Can't wait to apply 2nd top gloss coat

Hey Wokka, can I bring the washing in for ya!.....You may not get it back though.
Best use I've seen yet for a washing line.
    Very impressive lineup.

    Cheers
    Andy

thanks Andy. I don't use that clothesline for clothes as its shaded fair bit of the day, so its an axe only clothesline. There was another guitar on the line that didn't make it in the photos as well, Popeye's ash strat

Bit like the clothesline in my workshop that is used solely to hang digital prints on when drying.
The colour you have used on the sides and back of your LP is excellent, really good choice.
Wish I had used something like that on mine rather than the walnut.

    nice work Andy.
Walnut looked good on your LP. Hot auburn is an under rated colour IMO. It's almost got a hint of brown in the red. Perfect colour for back/sides of a heap of top colour combo's !
