The Azure blue is an outstanding colour....and the headstock design is awesome...

After a week and a bit of base coats, its time to add the silver highlights and get on with the finishing coats. I haven't bothered with any extra shots as the colour depth change isn't appearing on the iPhone shots. Will get out the good gear for finishing shots.

In the mean time, the neck has had it's first coat.

And included is a photo of the break at Winkipop.

Hi all, it's been a while. Work and life in general saw the projects put on hold for a bit. This weekend I got back into it and finished the Tele. When I say finished, it's all but done but it will need a new nut and some work on the action. I am pleased with the guitar though for my second build.

Btw. Sounds good in the lower register but the high notes are suffering from the dodgy nut. The copper shielding worked a treat and my soldering was way better than the RC1 I did.

    Some of the finished product.

Very nice Glenn, that's one of the best original headstocks I've seen.

Glenn - not normally an aqua guitar guy, but that really works! Love how it all evokes the beach and brings it all together!
