looking awesome Nitro other than the pups not lining up. Looks like the pickguard shape isn't entirely centred and you presumed the middle of the pickguard they would line up.
Oh well as you say lesson learnt.
So the pups sound great with the poles not lined up with the strings, that's a good sign !

yea mate, you got it in one. And yes they sound great but petered out when i played the high e string where it didnt go over the bridge pickup

Awwwww. What a shame! But at least it's just a pickguard. I'd leave the pickup cut-outs until last this time. Do the shape so that it fits the guitar, screw it on, then mark out the cavity locations so you can be sure they are centred.
