Ahh never thought of that! I know with my 2 screws that I had to change out, he heads stripped so I couldn't actually do much with them. Had to get my husband to get them out.

That should look cool, the next kit I'll be getting is a Tele kit but rather than spray-paint it I'll be doing my first foray into dingotone finishes, how does this sound?, Outback Sunset Dingo Tone finish with a white pearloid scratchplate and gold hardware.

Hi Shazz, a bit sad to hear about your wiring troubles and the guys have already given you plenty of good advice.

For the Purple LP stick with chrome as Black hardware may make things look too dark overall. A bit of contrast can make a world of difference that is why black on light or bright colours looks so good.

Hey ShazzRandom, whatever you do, don't get discouraged by the problems with the wiring, keep persevering and you'll eventually have a win mate.

Good tip on the wax... I now remember being told of an old retired builder who used to rub his nails (not finger...) through his Brylcreemed hair before he hammered them into hardwood joists and bearers.

Yeah, but I like dark haha. It will be my punk/heavy guitar
Realistically I won't be doing the black as wide, it will be mostly a purple guitar. And will also depend on what purple stains I can get my hands on
