Hey ShazzRandom, whatever you do, don't get discouraged by the problems with the wiring, keep persevering and you'll eventually have a win mate.

Yeah I'm all good about it I wasn't expecting to get t right the first time. But upgrading wiring and pots should hopefully help

Good tip on the wax... I now remember being told of an old retired builder who used to rub his nails (not finger...) through his Brylcreemed hair before he hammered them into hardwood joists and bearers.

Is it much the same as the wires that come with the kits? Just the plastic coated wire?

Yep, they also stock Shielded Audio wire that's fine for use in guitar wiring too.

Yeah my husband got the shielded audio wire but the Nowra store only had the dual wire and the wire snapped easily
