Beautiful. I'm not a strat fan, but that is looking lovely Doc, it's going to be a stunner when it's done.

I reckon so too, I'm definitely going to have to buy myself a new Digital Camera soon so I can take some decent pics of the finished guitar, maybe in a couple of fortnight's time.

That's true, and since I'm a man of my word I did the honorable thing and posted a pic for everyone to check out.

I'm going to be ordering some bits and pieces for my guitar from Real Tone Music later on tonight, amongst the bits and pieces are going to be a set of three gold strat-knobs and a gold pickup-selector knob, I'm also going to be ordering the new pickups from Pitbull Guitars too.

That's the white pearloid pickguard you see in the pic, the reason why it's white is because of the glare from the fluorescent light in my bedroom.

But you do get the basic idea of how the finished guitar is going to look.

I'm going to be ordering a set of ASN57 pickups this time, I found that the AS57 pickups were way too noisy (hummy) for my liking although I did like the tone, also one of the AS57 pickups (the bridge one) went faulty, the ASN57 pickups have white covers on them.

The ASN57 is the noiseless version of the AS57 so there shouldn't be a noticeable change in the sound, it'll make the guitar more usable in a recording or live situation, which is one of the reasons I decided to buy the kit in the first place.
