Thanks Andy, I can't take credit for this one. It's the G & L ASAT headstock shape. I actually like it more than the tele headstock shape.

So I polished up the neck with 0000 steel wool and it has come up nice and smooth. Attached the machine heads. Only thing left to do is to glue in the nut, which I'll do after assembly.





Sprayed the nitro clear coats today using the method I'd seen Phroz post in one of his build threads.





A little sun reflected off the edge.



And a bit of reflection towards the top left on the back.

Now the waiting game for it to dry and harden up so that I can polish it up.

Thanks Waz. I'm pretty happy with it so far considering that it's my first build. Hopefully it'll come up nice when it is all finished.

And despite me not being a particularly good guitar player, I've already got plans for a 2nd and 3rd build haha.

I'm hanging out to tackle the last sanding and polishing but trying to remain patient as I see most people are recommending about 4 weeks to let the nitro harden up. 2 weeks down. 2 weeks to go.

In the mean time I'm distracting myself with starting to plan out a semi-scratch build.

Picked up some timber.





And a couple of second hand planes as the edges of the boards will need a little work to fit together nicely.
