Nah, 12 is old hat, I'm going straight to 20 on the master volume, that's 8 louder than 12....lol.

Hey KB, yeah I got them I think I just forgot to reply haha. I'm running a pair of Fostex 50W bi-amped monitors, running off an external amp sitting on my desk. For subs I have a generic sub lying on the floor. Sounds good enough to mix on. In terms of upgrades I'd love to snag myself a pair of 8 inch monitors to really get a good idea on sound, I'll end up running it all through a PreSonus Central Station, to turn them on / off when needed of course...

I've got a big Subwoofer which needs a decent power amp to run it, I was given it by a friend of mine, it's actually part of a stereo HiFi system.

That's just plain unsociable Kels lol. Do you already own the Presonus Kels. If not you could choose something passive that doesn't colour the sound. The Presonus does give you a lot of options. But I think you can get better equipment at better price. But audio is always so personal

I might give this monitor alignment stuff a go tonight, even though my setup is pretty basic.

Will do mate, I just realized that I have a good Condenser mic that I could use just in case I need to get the software to listen to my Monitors.
