Thought I would start a new thread about a Custom Superstrat build project I will be starting this year, about last month I got Adam to order in a Strat body that was routed to accept a Floyd Rose Double-Locking Trem system, it arrived in the post today and I picked it up from the Winnellie Post Office about an hour ago, the Trem System I am planning on using is a Chrome Schaller Lockmeister, I am also planning on finishing the body in a solid Metallic Blue finish, it is going to have a white pearloid scratchplate, a 5-way pickup switch, the usual Strat tone and volume controls, and the pickups are going to be the ones I got with the Headless Guitar kit I bought online a few years ago, they look a bit like EMGs but are High Impedance passive types, there's a Bridge Humbucker, a Middle Single-Coil, and a Neck Single-Coil, the neck I'm going to be using is a 22-Fret Mighty Mite with a Rosewood Fretboard and a traditional Strat Headstock.
The Mighty Mite neck fits the neck pocket on the body, but it's a bit of a tight fit, I'll have to dowel the original mounting screw holes in the neck and re-drill them though.
I'll see if I can post some pics for you to check out.
Oh yeah, the Chrome Schaller Lockmeister Bridge fits the routing perfectly, so there are no issues there.
