    Gold looks like the winner as the chrome is a bit too much of a stark contrast whereas gold is more vibrant.

    So finally enough coats of TO and sat for 30 odd days to dry was time to fit the neck.
    Have to get off my butt and finish some of these builds.

    Started to assemble the guitar on the weekend and did the wiring loom and installed. Got the one of the apprentices to assist with the neck setup and it now has nice low action.
    So now is complete bar final clean and check of neck and intonation after a few days.

    Final Specs:
    bone nut
    Gotoh bridge
    Gotoh Locking tuners
    Wilkinson vintage pickups
    Switchcraft 3 way and jack
    Sprague caps and fidelity upgrades

    magpies are great apprentices until they crap on wet paint or oil LOL She also likes to pick up small tools or parts and throw them on the ground
