    well done Neil, 5 mins to remove a fingerboard shows how little glue the Chinese must have used !
    Current Builds and status
    scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
    JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
    Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck

    Completed builds
    scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
    MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
    Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in

    Just for future reference what did you use to heat the fretboard/fingerboard/glue?

    A steam clothes iron. Left the frets in. Got the paint scraper under it and forced about 2" at a time from the neck after steaming that section. And just kept moving up the neck. It worked really well. Better than I hoped.

    great work, removed the finger board on my Harmony the same way
