    Hi

Thanks to all. Tom's and Rabbitz's builds are awesome - really wish I could play the 6-string myself so I could get my hands on likes of those beautiful pieces... Maybe I'll try to build one and start learning...

Just made an order for MMB-4 with maple neck. Gonna keep it fairly simple (we'll see) but gonna try something like the Reflex-series with binding. Scary stuff... Will have to wait a couple of months though for the custom order to arrive... It's hard as...

    Hey Tom,

I reckon that's knocked me right out of the running - well done!

    To all GOTM entrants

One of the things we Judges look at (only because we never get to actually hear the guitars is to see if the guitar has been intonated. You might want to attend to this on your entries since if you have a really nice looking ax and it would be a shame to lose 'points' for this.

Don't forget the headstock logo too.

    Good luck with the GOTM

    Two questions:

    1) How does one tell from a photo that intonation has be done?

    2) What if you don't want a headstock logo?

You can't really. There are too many factors at play to say 'this' is what it should look like, but there is a generally accepted starting point as Wokka's pic shows which is what one expects to see. What Gavin is getting at (I believe) is in Tom's pics the saddles sit in a straight line, this should never usually happen and gives the impression that the intonation would be off.
