OK: my first ever shot at binding. Everything went relatively smoothly, especially the rebate.
It's all fixed on with acetone, minor patching done & scraped back ready to start sanding prior to prime & paint.

Yeah Stan, I used a bearing rebate bit and a home-made router stand. Then I followed the detailed U-tube tute by Fletcher Hand Made Guitars. It's all there.
I'd embed the link or whatever . . . but I'm too dopey about that stuff.
I'll find it, cheers Max. Nice job, sir

Hey Max, is it true that normal atmospheric pressure is like 2 tons heavier than a vacuum?
This is darn cool though, I should get designing on my own wacky creations soon...
Oy Kelooe, as far as I know atmo pressure at sea level is about 14 pounds per sq inch. Now if ya know roughly how many sq inches of skin there are on yer body, just times it out . . . . or just ask Prof. Google.
Torometer is very nearly done. I had some annoying probs with finishing the binding, but it came out sorta OK.
I'll post another pic when she's all finished.
To be honest - looks fantastic as a thermometer - not sure I'd go for it as a guitar.
