Decided to go with my original plan and went with the cherry flamenco. First top coat went on tonight.

on a side note is it possible to use wudtone topcoat over feast watson proof tint?

Wow! That Cherry looks stunning on the ash body. Awesome work! I have personally used Wudtone clear coats over Colortone dye, but that was water based. I think that the guys from 4D will be able to answer definitively about F&W. I'm pretty sure Wokka has used F&W to pop the grain under Wudtone before?

    cheers,
    Gav.

Man, the cherry ash looks fantastic. The grain really shines through. Looking excellent.

Thanks Gav, yeah I am pretty happy with it so far and boy wanted the red so that's the way it went.
Just asking about the other as went with the fw black japan on the rear and wanted a consistent finish. Can use other products I know to finish but would be better if I can just use the one topcoat over everything.

Thanks Stan. Was a bit of a conflict after everyone saying go clear but happy the grain shows through well with the colour. It has come up like I first imagined it so happy about that.

Mind you I understand now why some of you guys have more than one on the go at a time. Not only addictive but the waiting between is painful lol. 2 at a time is still too slow.
