Second coat after a sanding with 320. Still lighter in the photo. The grain is starting to standout nicely.

That's starting to look pretty special.

That's one of my favourite colour tops for a LP and one I'll be doing in the near future, it looks stunning! Would look amazing in a deep high gloss finish but that's just my preference for shiny things. What's your actual plans for final finish?
looking great the colour Denis, you must be happy after the second coat, you may only need one more colour coat
Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck
Completed builds
scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in
I know you're joking but, I use that tape all the time and it looks really good next to alot of things, I wish there was a binding that colour./<\\/p>[]<\\/p>/Quote from lawry on June 17, 2014, 18:32
