    Last time I looked (going from memory here) I could get the head for $900? and the extra cab for $500ish.
    But since then the Ausie dollar has fallen a bit.....

    ok so say about $1500 AUS maybe, or about 40 bottles of American honey, that may sway your decision !

    Just a heads up on bass amp power. Because it requires a lot more energy to move the air of a bass signal the general thought is that you need about ten times the power (20dB) of whatever the guitarist has to be perceived as being the same volume. So... if your guitarist has 50 Watts the bassist needs about 500 Watts.
    Now to the low power amp on stage. Sometimes I play lead with my homemade 8 Watt tube amp and it easily keeps up with the other guitarists Vox AC15. So... go for it Ads, those little Voxs really rock.
