Thanks Dvous, but with grain feature as good as this, it' would be hard to mess it up./<\\/p>[]<\\/p>/Quote from dvous on July 12, 2013, 08:21
That's gorgeous Rob! If Bec ever gives up playing, she cold hang it on her way as a piece of art...
And if Bec ever decides to stop playing, I'm getting this beauty back lol.

What can I saw Rob. Sensational finish. Hope mine looks half as good. I decided colours of mine last night doing a golden rod edge and clear Centre burst.
Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck
Completed builds
scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in
Thanks Warren, I know I've said it before, but with grain feature like that, anything that doesn't hide it will look good./<\\/p>[]<\\/p>/Quote from wokkaboy on July 13, 2013, 10:40

Thanks Brendan, coming from an old 4 stringer, any bass is a good bass. Even these new fangled 5 string things.
I hope these Ash bodies stay consistently good, as I intend to make an IB-5 of my own one day when I have finished my current builds and can afford one. They really are THAT good.
cheers

Looks fantastic Rob. This is like being a kid on Christmas Eve waiting to hit the tree. I'm hoping my IB5 lands tomorrow and that it has grain like this piece of art.
