    Hey Callum

    How's your build going.....?
Let's just say, I have 1 hole drilled (my dad broke the bit!), and I am probably going to order the Colour Coded Sandpaper from The Sandpaper Man!

So, in short, VERY VERY SLOW!!!

    Cheers,
    Callum

Hey guys, just popping in to let everyone know that the build had been temporarily halted :x :?
I still need to get the sandpaper from CarbaTec along with drill bits, rags, and gloves from Bunnings...
Build shall resume as soon as I get my school work done and get the required materials.

    Cheers,
    Callum

EDIT: I also need to find someone who can cut the headstock... If I can't, then I will keep the shape as-is and cut it on my next LP...

WE ARE BACK BOYS!!!! That is right everyone, I have finally received the Wudtone (DB is sending the rest today!)!!!
So, last night, I did some shielding (SO CLOSE BUT RAN OUT!!!), but its pretty much shielded. Sanding and drilling and maybe even some Wudtone-ing this week!!!

    Cheers,
    Callum (Pest)

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but as far as I know you shouldn't need to shield the back of your pick guard Callum. Maybe you could salvage some tape from it and complete the pickup cavities?

    Hi Stui

Actually nothing wrong with what Callum has done with the pickguard. Those snap, crackle and pops caused by the static on the plastic pickguard can interfere with clean sound...So appreciate that many might think it isn't necessary but it can help.

    Hi all,
You gotta love the Pest's dedication to shielding.... this will be the quietest LP in history!

There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....
