Hi Ponch, I feel your pain as a similar thing happened on the Swampy Tele a few weeks ago. At least your oops will be hidden under paint. Mine is going through the TO refinishing stage after carefully sanding out as much of the dings as I could. Tends to dampen your enthusiasm for a while and hope it doesn't cause you too much heartache getting it back up to where it was at before the fall.

All good Waz, I put this aside and collected my thoughts on the repair. I just happened to find some epoxy putty resin in my workshop that should do the trick. I now have the confidence in fixing up stuff ups - after so many others

Ouch! Remember that happening to my PB-4. I invested in some rubber matting after then. Thankfully I haven't had to try them... Best of luck getting it back to where it was before!

They are NOT stuff ups, they are "Learning Experiences" and "Opportunities for Personal Growth". And most of the time sanding practice.

Allthough it sometimes feels different at the other end I completely agree with you; it is all about learning, enjoying the build and being proud of what you have accomplished.

The never ending build continues! Way too hard filling in the dings... just whack out the jigsaw for some offset fun. Rasping tonight oh yeah. Also whilst I’m at it the colour scheme/theme is to change. Anyone know where I can get some metal orange pick guard material?

The headstock is also to be adjusted to Tele style
