Final undercoat touch ups complete. Its a bit dusty after light sanding but smooth, even and ready for paint after a clean up. Hopefully this Saturday... humidity pending...

I'd try and get the edges a bit smoother. The inside of the horn curves look to be a bit bumpy in the photo - though this may be an illusion. The smoother you can get the finish now, the better the final finish will be. You really need to look at it against a bright light at a low angle to see if there are any pits or bumps remaining. It's harder to see with a matt/flat finish than with gloss, but it's more revealing than looking at it with a light that's at 90° to the surface. If you don't get the primer flat, the topcoat will simply follow the primer, and you'll need to spray more topcoats in order to have the depth to get it really flat.
Cheers Simon good to have a second set of eyes looking over it especially as this is my first spray finish attempt - it feels smooth under my fingers but will take a good look in the daylight tomorrow

I did that the first time I rubbed down some paintwork, until a mate came round and pointed out all the areas that still needed attention.
yeah good point Simon. Ponch you will learn how important getting the primer coats flat will make the job so much easier --> less top coats and less sanding = win haha
Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck
Completed builds
scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in
So a lot of sanding to flatten off the primer. I ended up using a spare can of white primer (same type) on this. Almost done but a mosquito landed on the lower front. Annoying but only a small area to patch up
The patch up area
The rest

Looks great - actually a matte white version of this would look amazing.
