Have you found any issues with the ground loop feedback that is spoken of on YouTube? That was my only concern. The ground lift models are up around $200-00 mark.....thought I would give this one a go.

Today I hit her up with the first part of the blue stain. U-Beaut wood stain Blue Colour. Two coats over the body and both necks.

Amazing how you can sand and damp down and then when you wipe a stain on out pop 3 glue spots.

Oh well I am away for two days.....then sand and wire toothbrush...on the glue spots and sand and fill and try again.

I think the colour will deepen up nicely with the gloss polyurethane.

I will try the Black colour around the edges and the scarf joint of the necks and the neck pocket areas.

Man that body is big and cumbersome to wipe stains on and sand.

I have used it before. It is easy to use...but you need nearly a full bottle to make a stain strong enough to bring strong colours out.

They have a smaller and slightly different range of colours to the StewMac colortone range, but it is way cheapr to buy the U Beaut stuff.

Use gloves...paper towel under everything....it is basically coloured water and the colouring sticks to anything.

    Yeah...I like the stuff.

Looking good Ozz where did you find the glue spots.. I swear the Chinese glue has some special hiding power. It always pops out when you least expect it. My IB5 kit I am working on now has glue creepingnout everywhere on the join lines and the more I get rid of it and sand the more it sneaks back out.. uggg anyways love that dark blue the clear should really make it look deep..
