don't be put off by set necks, they aren't as scary as I thought at first. It's just like a bolt on except you glue and clamp instead of drill and screw, the prep is the same with the bridge in place and the 2 e strings

Ok, well ill try a set neck for my third project. Of course with lotsa help! Third, i havnt even finished my first one!

LOL, there will be 4th fifth and sixth I bet, the only reason I haven't got more kits lined up is that all my major bills fall in June July

Hey Nitro good advice mate.
@ Marelton the safest bet is to use the same brand of paint has always got me the best results. Mixing brands usually ends in tears and lots of sanding haha

@ Marelton as Nitro said if you are ever in doubt of paint compatibility it's always worth spraying colour coat on 1 or 2 test pieces of scrap when you paint the body/neck then go over with the clear coat on the test pieces before the body/neck. Or another option is spray the clear coat over an area covered by a pickguard or an area that will be hidden and mist coats should let you know if there is any rejection
