I've been playing for 36 years now and have been fascinated by guitars for all my life, but I've never sought the knowledge on how to maintain them properly and I'm a little embarrassed it has taken me this long to start getting to know them better than I do. I'm looking forward to finding out what it's all about, so I've just unboxed my ES3 and am trying to work out how to get started. I bought this kit for a few reasons:
I saw the Cult play last year and realised I really wanted a hollow-body....
I have a few guitars already and was going to struggle to get approval to buy another one
But a construction project is somehow un-objectionable!
I've long wanted to know more about how my guitars are put together
Hopefully this will be the first of many, I've got a road-map of models in mind!
