    cheers guys been working on it the last couple of day have done a light polish but the clear still feels a bit soft so ill leave it for another week to harden up so i don't bugger it up this one has been a bugger to do, the gunmetal grey with the black burst looks nice

    Presume you will be using chrome hardware? Looking good already and would look nice with a bit of shiny hardware as a contrast.

    haven't done much this week as Doctor gave me new pain pills which are making me very drowsy one of the fun things theses days, but worked on it today for a few hours, starting to put in pick ups and pots still waiting on the bridge hardware and switch craft switch to show up, pick ups are Gibson 57 classic neck and 57 classic Angus on the bridge i have had them for nearly 20 years sitting in my draw going to use gold hardware i have a set of gold Kulson machine heads which ill fit tomorrow got to drill out the holes as i doweled up from the 10mm hole to 6mm not sure yet if ill put on the pick guard

    put in the plug and fitted machine heads and pick guard

    yeh they are i have now finished it using silver hardware taking to long for the gold stuff to show up but might change it or keep for my next guitar really want to do a GR-1SF going to do that one in a nice stain with a burst should be interesting haven't done a stain job since i was a apprentice
