Whichever speakers I end up using, I need to make sure that the speaker impedance is no less than 4 Ohms, and that the power handling is at least 160 Watts or greater, will a pair of Celestion Greenbacks handle that much power?, also I'm wondering how much that'll cost me all up.

Celestions are supposed to be the bee's knees, I've heard nothing but good things about Celestions.

Last night I also managed to find four rubber feet to attach to the underside of the amp case.

same here Doc I have only heard good things about Celestions.
Might be a cheaper option to ask your local music store to keep an eye out for any old speaker cabs with Celestions maybe a trade in

Okay, so finish EXA, FrankenWashie, SV-1 and Scratchbuild RG Baritone, then build GAS mandated rack, then buy decent head then build XF cab. next 2 years activities SORTED!

I hope there's not a sale soon, I already have one kit still in box untouched and several lengths of nice timber lying around in transformative states approaching guitardom, I don't think I need to add to that. Yet.

Back on topic, I am familiar with Celestion, will be very interested to see how your project pans out Doc!

Hey Franken (Doc seems to attract thread jackers hahaha) I think there maybe an August PBG sale for it's 4th birthday but will wait for Ads to announce it, I have no idea if he is but it's a hunch !

Haha...there's not a whole lot I can do about the thread-jacking so I might as well just accept it, it's all good anyway.

I had a thought with your Baffle/cover, you could always get a neutral coloured fabric and get artistic with it for a really personalised effect.

I suppose I could do that as an alternative option.
