Looks like they laminated a piece of timber under the heal of the neck on a standard strat neck to achieve a set neck for the body, you can see the different colour in the photo. Suppose you could do it either way, set neck as is or cut the lamination off the neck, laminate it to the neck pocket then progress as a bolt-on! ie as a viking would normally be.Originally Posted by wokkaboy
