Been at work for the last 7 days so stain had heaps of time to dry, should of taken a picture the gold had mellowed into a sand colour it was very nice. I applied the intensifier today and it made a huge difference on the neck and head-stock the stain went on pretty wishy washy but the intensifier got into the tight grain of the maple no problem. The body came up good, back to being gold. Doesn't look much different to the other photos just a bit shiny at the moment. I'm going to leave it for a while before I put the final coats on i'm hoping it fades back to the sand colour.

0000 Steel wool used lightly will take a bit of edge off the colour if needed as that is how my EX-1 turned out, more sandy coloured than gold and closer to a korina finish that I was seeking.

Just did the 0000 wool great advice, went a little harder than the dingo tone instruction video (which is very helpful) and between the sun thank f$#$ its summer and a good rub not quite so yellow. Gonna go and do the final coat now.

ID:	7978Not the best light to get good photos, the back is more yellow than the front. Didnt spend as much time on it.

Hard to capture the exact colour in a photo isn't it?

Looking good and has similar toning to my CG EX-1.

dtroy, nice colour and has really enhanced the grain. good score too on the basswood as there is a good consistent pattern across the body.
