Being a KISS/Paul Stanley fan, one of my future projects is going to be an Iceman. Excellent job on this Tony..love the blood splatter!

Love the JR Simon really slick build.
Tom ,awesome Iceman - the glasswork and spatter are a great effect.
Tony
It plays great.The Kent Armstrong pickups are very powerful.I can't really decide if using no-load tone pots makes that much of a difference.But unless you are an experienced glass cutter,I highly recommend using mirror perspex instead,otherwise the blood spatter will be very real.I cut glass every day for nearly 20 years and I don't consider my day to start until the claret flows.Glass is supersharp,the cuts don't usually hurt,but the blood gets everywhere.
I appreciate all the comments and compliments.I have plenty of other guitars to show but I just can't get my photos to upload.I think the neck of this kit is one of the best I've used.Maybe one could specify which neck one likes with what body?The neck being preshaped helped speed up what was a very long and intricate build.I don't think I'll be doing something that complicated ,finish-wise again.
Tom, that's a very well executed Dexter inspired IC-1 project. Love the broken mirror, control knobs and blood splat! Looks great.
Current Projects
#Planning 5 String Bass
Hi Chaps,
Here's my Gr1-SF. Colortone blue with clear Dingotone over the top. A few extra bits and pieces;
Grover sta-tight tuners
One of DB's famous nuts (That could be taken out of context)
GFS Xtrem tremolo (bit nicer than the stock one, bit cheaper than a Bigsby)
I've wired it up using the Gretsch 'mud-switch' circuit.
I have a Gotoh Nashville bridge to go on, just waiting on some files to come in the mail so I can file the saddles.
I had planned on putting some Filtertrons or P90s in it, just putting the stockies in until I could get some cash together, but it sounds really good as is, so I might leave it. Very raunchy, does some good QOTSA/White Stripes sounds. In any case I'll have to get over my hollowbody-wiring induced PTSD before I even think about putting different pickups in.
