Kilo, as in 1000 watts? Holy crap. I used to have the HA3500 too, great amp, sadly stolen along with my 15 inch XL cab. I hope that f*$ker put their back out.

Long story, but I wasn't using it much after quitting my band, and I was living in a small apartment so it was really just taking up space. My good buddy borrowed it and as his band had a permanent rehearsal space I said to keep it as long as they needed it. Six months later their room was broken into and a lot of gear got pinched.
They had no insurance. They were all pretty devastated so I wasn't going to add to their pain by insisting someone pay for my gear.

I still have the quad, can't quite bring myself to get rid of it. It is currently the most badass tv stand ever.

Moral of the story; don't lend your gear out. To anyone. Ever.

Disclaimer: I still lend my gear.

Yes Pabs, 1000 glorious eye melting watts...
Mind you, past three on the 3500 gets the windows rattling.

Turned it up to five once (with windows open and roof tied down), let rip with Black Night and got a complaint from an old guy who lives a k up the road from me

@ Pablo, that sucks man, its hard to turn down a mate who wants to borrow something and its available to use
@ DB nice work getting a complaint a km up the road. Would need about 5 Marshall quad boxes to get a complaint that far away from a guitarist haha. surely a 1kW amp would be heard further away. Depends if you still have any teeth left and you are a Collingwood supporter ! haha

Yeah Woks, a Kilo head should be able to reach out at least 5 k's... turned up to 2....
Imagine the complaints that would get!

No wonder She who Must be Obeyed won't let me have the Kilo head and extra cab......

haha yer DB, maybe it would be ok to have that sort of power on a rural property where your neighbors are miles away.
Have you worked out the cost of this beast and converted the cost to 'x' amount of American Honey cases ?
