Scott.
Glad there's a wiring guru in the forum, looks good Scott.
DB if it doesn't work I like Gavmiesters plan 'B' haha
Also DB it would be funny if you had the power to change our status as 'in the naughty room' haha
Current Builds and status
scratch end grain pine tele - first clear coat on !
JBA-4 - assembled - final tweaks
Telemonster double scale tele - finish tobacco burst on body and sand neck
Completed builds
scratch oak.rose gum Jazzmaster - assembled needs setup
MK-2 Mosrite - assembled - play in
Ash tele with Baritone neck - neck pup wiring tweaks and play in
Ya know, having a rotary switch to select all those pup options sounds like a cool idea but I can't really see it working on-the-fly. With something like a 5-way toggle you can see what setting you're on at a glance and a quick flick puts you where you want to be. Not saying it's a bad idea, just not as easy to operate. I guess you could use a chicken head or barbell knob but you still have to turn them, not just flick them.
Agree with you lawry about rotary switches on the fly. I really like the Freeway 6 way switches (stewMac) . They operate exactly like a three way but differentiate by having an up position and a down position. I used one on my Midi Relic to give me all the Gibson and Fender settings plus an Ibanez setting with two Humbuckers and single coil in the middle. So at the flick of a switch i can have three single coils ala stratocaster, two single coils at the neck and bridge as per telecaster and so on....

Didn't know about the Freeway 6 switch, Gav. That's something I'll check out, thanks. And it sounds like a much easier way to get where you want to be.
Just had a look at the web site for Free-Way. There are a few wiring schematics there too that may have the configuration you're after DB. Or you can go with a Weirdy Designs original as Scott has come up with something cool (again).

Ah, DB. I noticed that you used the words "so far".
Methinks I sense a veiled aura of megalomania lurking there!
Lawry, he was diagnosed positively years ago!!!!/<\\/p>[]<\\/p>/Quote from lawry on March 14, 2014, 07:50
