Started preparing to put the pickups into the pick-guard. Discovered that the pickup cavities in the pick-guard were too small so had to rework them to get them bigger. Put in some awesome rio grande pickups but the neck pickup doesn't fasten onto the black fibre bobbin so this is an issue for Realtone to sort out for me. Will let you know the outcome.

This is my second set. I'll never personally use anything else, they are THAT good! Realtone have agreed to send me a new pickup but it will only get here in January...so this project is likely to be delayed.....

you can always put the supplied pickup in for the meantime Gav. I'm looking up the realtone site, are yours the dual calibrated or the dirty harry set ?
