Happy birthday Callum! Sweet axes, I have to ask though, is your Epi the rocksmith guitar? I have always wondered about that game.

This post got me thinking, I don't even know how many guitars I own now. :? I might have to pull them all out for a new family photo soon.

Yes, but I don't have the game, I bought the Axe from my local music shop, goes for about $200

Rocksmith is kind of interesting, with good and bad points... it's sort of love/hate for me, although I haven't touched it for ages. The ABC's GoodGame did a nice review of it (from 17:45 onwards).

I like it, but there's no Green Day songs, so that is a downfall of it, but it's overall a neat game to have!

I'd buy it, but you need that stupid special cable that costs too much.

You talking about the 1/4" - USB adapter???? If you buy the game, it includes the adapter IIRC, the Axe plays pretty damn well, the Epiphone 700T Humbucker has a noice response to my playing style!!!

$200? That's amazing! The last epiphone I bought cost more than $500, and it was a fairly basic model.

Happy Birthday for tomorrow. You are truly fortunate to have 3 instruments to choose from depending on your mood. At your age I only had one - a Yamaha student model classical acoustic.

I now realise that your birthday was today, not tomorrow. And I've discovered you got another acoustic as a gift, you lucky bugger. What style of acoustic do you play - finger picking or strumming?
