    It sounds like DB starts with a bass kit and ends up with a ukulele.

    well a quiet saturday night a few cooper's and springteen dvd cranked up loud enough to annoy the neighbours upstairs . test fitted all parts looking good .started the sanding. nice relaxing night

    ended up sanding for about 5 hours , looking really good and smooth

    a few update photo's so spent about 5 hours on the body sanding and first coat of dark tease

    Brett, thought something looked odd on the body, worked out its a lefty. You had a major win with the basswood grain, I've built about 6 or 7 ST kits and not seen any with this sort of grain. Were you watching the Monaco F1 race in one of the photos ? great race
    You worked out a headstock shape yet ?

    yer, Wokka is right there, that grain pattern on that body is pretty sexy!!!! I unfortunately missed the GP, where did Webber come???
