Simon, i'm sure your the man to ask, as you suggested. About the earth to the bridge on my guitar. I ended up having to drill a bigger hole where the earth lead comes through on the bridge bolt hole.
Can I use a larger lead from that earthing point, to join it to the cable supplied, which is very thin and pre soldered to the Bridge Vol Pot. Thanks
Glad you liked the boat, its finally in the water after 3years.
Cheers
Grandpa Jim
Yes, no problem in joining two leads, or just using a longer new bit of wire and run that to the back of a pot and cut off the existing wire. If you join the wires, either use some push fit crimps (easier when connecting the ground wire to the harness when it's outside the body just waiting to be put in) or twist and solder it, but make sure that any exposed wire/metal is taped up to avoid any chance of it touching a signal connection and grounding it.
Thanks Simon, bought some joiners today.
That is a VERY pretty guitar!
Looking good. Nice glossy finish. You're approaching the homestretch now.

Looks normal to me. What do you think is the problem?
The bridge is meant to be angled slightly.
