All good clean fun pabs haha, i just stuffed up 2 pickguards, might have to buckle and get a palm router, the expenses just never stop.

And i am still fighting with the heel join on my 12 string neck not taking colour, because of the insidious glue they used, hopefully i have it filled this time and can move on

Hope you turn the corner soon, nothing is insurmountable, its just a pain.

Unfortunately no good clean fun to be found, Tones. Everything in my garage is now covered is now covered in craft herpes (more commonly known as glitter). It's EVERYWHERE!!! And that's before I start sanding.

That sucks pabs, I feel your pain mate. I've been waiting 3 months for some acrylic clear to cure properly. Is it cured, finger push test, leaves mark in paint, no! Sand a bit more , and wait a bit more...

Finally had an afternoon under 30 degrees and around 60% humidity, so got the clear coat on. I wasn't 100% convinced about using satin acrylic, but it has turned out magically.

Not the easiest to see in this photo, but believe me, it looks very nice and I am well pleased. Finally some actual progress. And the beauty of a satin finish, no more bloody sanding. Wait for it to cure and she's freaking done.

Ah, don't need to stress anymore...
