I would say the IB7 has a good chance mate, it all comes down to the judges taste !
its pretty rare for a 7 string to be entered so there could be bonus points !

Pretty much what Wokks said. The new strings arrived yesterday, trc today, logos we're yesterday as well. Work is getting in the way of guitar stuff, but truthfully, I've been giving this thing a thorough bashing. Totally in love with it. I will try to get a vid done tomorrow, still learning the triv song so I'll do rocket skates
by the deftones instead. I'll post the triv, both lead and rhythm later on. Since I've finished it at haven't put it down. Picked up the esp the other day for about 6 seconds and it went back to the rack. Felt like going from playing a good solid bit of kit to a violin. Now I need an 8 string. Still trying to get used to muting against a Floyd. 90% of my other guitars are tom bridges so you've got something to rest against.

Man you and I would get along well. Deftones were my teenage jam.

Just pulling your leg mate - all good things take time.

Same dude except my teenage crush on Stephen and chino has developed into a 30 year old crush. He's pretty much the reason I want an 8 string.

Thanks man. There is a guy on eBay that does them custom with a few different colour combos, shapes and fonts. Just punch in custom truss rod cover. Aussie guy so it usually only takes a few days as well. $12.

Sorry mate, the vii is etched into the cover as it's 2 ply.
