One thing I'e learned this weekend - when it comes to intonation there's no substitute for a really accurate tuner. The one I'd used was 25 years old and just didn't work as well as I thought.

Yes Tony a good tuner is a must for a good set up.

Preferably one with a needle, rather than just a few LEDs.

While the old one does have a needle, it's accuracy is not what it use. I'm sticking with Garageband for the next build.
