good stuff Andrew, easy mistake, this must be your first push pull pot wiring.
Good call re-screwing the neck. Sometimes if the drill holes aren't deep enough the screws can raise the neck heel from the seated position. Its one of the most important parts of the build !
So we should see a video soon bro !

Second wokks. The ex had coil taps but that was one pup per pot so this is the first with a wiring jungle in one cavity. Its coming to the time where I discover I have a pirates vocab. That's right. Setting up a Floyd for the first time.

As for clips, hopefully soon. Waiting on the truss rod cover, and ordering some decals of Andy so when Ann arrives and she is shiny, there will be carnage. Or powerchords. Either way.

sounds good Andrew, the floyd may take a bit of setting up, what gauge is the heavy B string ? You will have to play with the spring tensions to try and get the floyd sitting flat and staying in tune !

No idea mate, the b was just in that rolled up set. When all the finishing bits come I'll whack on a set of slinkies but just using the ones that came with the kit to set it up. Funny thing is though, the pbg set that comes with the kit doesn't include the 7th string!

Honestly, that was easier then I thought. Just had her plugged in. The neck needs to be straightened as there is a slight now under string tension, but the action is pretty low already, no buzzes or weird noises. Noticed acoustically the tone block reverberates, as in you'll hit a note, mute it and the block continues to ring. It doesn't come through the amp though. The blaze pups crush though. Cleans are nice, the middle position tapped is so snappy, really nice. Crunch just sings, heaps of sustain.

But! With a metalzone kicked in, holy balls! I picked up my esp tuned to drop b, but these passives sounded so much fuller. Neck isn't too much of a struggle to get the hang of. Only thing is I reference where I am in relation to low e, so sometimes arpeggios get mixed up caus I'm going for a string that isn't where I'm used to it being.

In conclusion, this thing destroys. So happy with the outcome. Going to learn down from the sky by trivium and will post the results when I get all the sparkly bits put on.

You know how there are 2 sets in the box, one is the pbg ones, the other is just the Crap ones I'm sure everyone throws out? Well the 6 normal strings are pbg, and the low b is the shite set.
