Have to chip in with my praise. Stunning is a word that gets thrown around a little too often, but that guitar really is. Just beautiful and the attention to detail is mind blowing.

Plus, these things sound and play so great. Absolutely loving mine and I haven't even done the final tweaks yet. Still waiting for things to settle down and I'll be fine tuning the set-up/action/pick-up settings etc.

Thanks very much for all the replies everyone.
To say I'm happy with how it turned out would be an understatement. It's only build number six and think I may have peaked, not sure I'll do one as good again.

I have a couple of options for getting a sound demo done, just hope one works out.

Tweaky, the MOP for the TRC is 1.5mm thick and feels quite sturdy. Although, I did drill the screw holes but left it off until the new strings went on, had it strung up with the strings that came with the kit for about 3 1/2 weeks and adjusted the truss rod during that time. Had read that a brass nut would give a brighter sound , not darker as you have experienced and have used D'Addario flatwound chromes 10-48. It matches the gold hardware if nothing else. Impressed you made your own saddles, shame you can't use them. Look forward to some pics when you can update your build diary.

Wayne, the burst on yours is coming up really well, nice work.

Enikoy, yeah they sound great even unplugged, just need to get used to the size of the body.

    Thanks again.

I feel like I should say something, but I have no words. Well, I have some swear words, but our Mods will be all over that in no time.

This guitar is just spectacular, neverwas.
    Cheers,

    Adam

Unbelievable workmanship neverwas. Great to see the love and dedication in this build.
If I was to find a fault, it would be the burst on the neck. It's just not what I'm used to seeing.
Sorry to have a negative for you, but it's best to be honest I believe.

Thanks Adam, better not get yourself in trouble on your own forum

Thanks Zandit75. The neck may not be to everyone's taste, that's cool. Please be honest.

Thanks Joe. It was a learning experience, love the work you've done on Poison Ivy.
