THats the plan... got myself a japanese saw today.
Bit dissappointed the big green shop doesnt sell vaneer for me to slot into the fret holes.
I was hoping to do that tomorrow, too.
It took a bit of fiddling to get it to the point of playability I wanted and I really messed up the wiring.
The tremolo gave me a lot of grief for the style of trem intensive playing I do, but I got it resolved by
Swapping out the bridge for a roller bridge.
Installing a floating mahogany bridge support.
Running the wound strings over the tension bar of the 'bigsby' and the unwound strings under the tension bar.
Recutting the nut for wider grooves.
Heavier strings ... 11s
