Hey Doc good idea, it will give you some space and time to re-group on this one. I have numerous 'parked' projects that I've just had to walk away from for a bit, for various reasons, waiting for the flash of inspiration to pick them up again

Cheers Waz and Ponch, when I do get back into working on this project I will make sure I post regular updates for you, cause I know you guys like reading them.

See, I think I'm learning how to control my inner OCD-ness about the projects I work on...hahaha.

    Onward and upwards.

Cheers mate and don't forget to make sure you enjoy what you are doing. It takes less effort that way.

Don't forget that consigning displeasing bodies to a fiery pit can be almost as much fun. Mwahahahahaha!

Verily it is true, what is more fun is when one is choosing what one uses to consign said displeasing body to a fiery pit, one wonders how well and for how long said body would burn if given a liberal-coating of Thermite, perhaps Napalm might be a more effective pyrotechnic accelerant?, food for thought....hahahaha.

    Update:

While doing some cleaning-up of my flat a couple of days ago, I stopped to move the Gold Strat body from where it was hanging up, to another place, as I casually examined it, I found out that what I had thought was a pretty serious ding in the body turned out to be less-serious than I had thought, so, I'm not going to junk the body after all since I think it is fix-able, the ding doesn't look to be as deep as I thought it was, what's more, the paint seems to have dried hard and can be sanded-back so it's flat, ready for another coat of fresh paint, I'm going to leave it for now because I still have a lot of cleaning-up to do, and, I have a House Inspection due at 2:30pm this afternoon, it is currently 6:37am and I am having my first coffee for the day, I'll let you guys know how it all goes, I'm keeping my computer online all day today though so I can read your comments when I take a break from cleaning my flat.

Doc, if we've learned anything in the last week or so its that hope is never lost. Take Andyxlh's RC4 as an example, binned, then resumed and now Schmick as Schmick can be. Gold Strat shall live!

Come to think of it, I think I remember reading his thread a few days ago, and I saw the trials and tribulations he went through with his build, so, what that teaches me is that if he is able to do it, so should I, trouble is, I tend to think the worst when things go wrong, I must learn to be more optimistic about things in future.

Ever since I joined, and became a member of this online forum, I have been learning more and more about myself as a person.
