    nah I reckon its a great idea DB, sure it will work fine. I'm another player that hardly touches the controls - its always full tone and full volume !
    Have you checked the push pull pots don't extend past the edge of the body ? They may rub on your leg as someone pointed out

    Yhep, made sure that when extended the knobs are still behind the top....
    At least I thought that bit through

    There is always a workaround for glitches, mistakes and other Guitar building gremlins.....

    DB - don't hide them too hard - being guitarists they won't know where to find them. Bad enough with guitarists see sawing around trying to find the groove or the melody, let alone having to be searching for the controls at the same time.
