but not much came up for a search of Evil Axes on Google so run with it Doc !

No worries, I will cause the more I think about it the more I like it, so, now I've got to get stuck into doing the actual designing using a graphics app of some sort, might see if I can do it in Irfanview.

And so it's official, my Headstock logo is going to be as follows:

    Evil Axes
    GOLDMEMBER

Done in the same style as the Austin Powers Goldmember logo.

    Update:

I just did some browsing in Microsoft's App Store and they have a few Logo Creator Apps, one is a free download (Logo Foundry), and another one (The Logo Maker) only costs $3.09 to download, I think I'll download both and see if I can use them to create my logo.

    Update:

So I have been waiting for the last coat of Gold paint to dry since the day I applied it, the body does seem to feel dry to the touch and I'm thinking that maybe this coming Monday might be okay to spray one more coat of Gold paint, then let it dry for a week before clear-coating it.

Once I finally get the Gold Strat back up and running, I might see if I can record a new demo clip of it, but, what I might do is go through all the sounds I can get with the pedals which are currently on my Pedalboard, I might even use that as an excuse to finish-off that Doc's Blues demo I started earlier this year, what do you guys reckon about that?

Might even re-record the Bassline for it too, but I'll need to get a set of new tuners for my Squire P-Bass.

Oh, and I might use the Marshall MA100C amp too.

There were some areas that went a bit discoloured from me touching the paint to see if it was dry enough to do another coat, and I just gave the body a light spray to touch-up the areas that were discoloured, so now, I'm leaving it alone to dry overnight, might take a look at it in the morning to see if there are areas I've missed, actually, I might just continue applying more coats of the gold paint till it's all used up, and then do the clear coating, but wait till the paint is dry first though.

Still no evidence of paint-reactions, and there are no more paint runs that need fixing, I think I'm starting to get the feel for these Spraycans now, does take a little bit of practice but it's nothing too difficult.

I'm going to try my hardest to resist the urge to touch any part of the Gold Strat body with my fingers because I have found that even when the paint is dry, it seems to discolour a bit when you touch it with your fingers, so I'm leaving it alone for the time being.

I might give the Gold Strat body another spray with the Gold paint later on today, we'll see how it goes.

    Update:

Thought I would post a couple of new pics of the Gold Strat body after letting the last coat of paint dry for a few days, so here they are, this is what it's looking like now:

Do you think it's ready for the clear-coating or should I spray another coat of paint?
