Rout for battery and mark out modified neck heel..
To answer the question about how I fitted the optic fibre.
First, cut a few strips of the desired timber slightly wider than needed then run through drum sander until it is .2mm thicker than required.
Chop chunks off that correspond to fret spacings and drill hole to accept fibre.
Glue each chunk individually, installing fibre in as you go. This can be fun as you end up with a mess of fibres that need controllingmasking tape is your friend here.
You will need to bore a hole into the heel, and another out the end of the heel to allow for the LED and fibres to connect.
I back filled he large hole with my all time fave, epoxy resin....
Now back to work.

What is this obsession folks have with sea foam green? If I saw sea foam that colour I'd be truly frightened about what was causing it.
