It is important to check everything works before finally soldering up and attaching all the electronic parts. Unfortunately in this case, the earth wasn't part of the checking process and this is a mistake anyone of us could easily have made. It sure sent DB and myself into diagnostic mode because if everything worked beforehand it really should have worked after....
Hence, important to be complete and thorough in the check beforehand. Damn difficult when all you want to do is plug the thing in and strum that first chord!
If everything is working and then isnt once all is connected and in place then refer back to the thread and the answer could be found in DB's or my post otherwise we are still blood well wrong....![]()
