I think the re-shaped lower horn has just about perfect dimensions and will be quite an outstandingly balanced looking instrument, well saved Sir!

So some more carving and a neck pocket eventuated.
The observant ones will note the tell tale signs of CA glue wicked into cracks on the top horn. I suspect that these began when the router threw it, and subsequent carving released some stresses in the timber.
I couldn’t help but fit my original neck experiment up to see how it looked, I’m going to have to replicate it for this body, I really like the reverse headstock look for this.
