Got the knobs on after some mucking around.....



Just got some tweaking to do, I've got to source a 3 ply truss rod cover as the kit one looks a bit out of place. The action is too high at the moment and its caneing my fingers, so ive got to fix that.

As Stan pointed out some time ago...black shows up everything! there are fine scratches all over this thing even though i polished it to buggery....does that swirl remover stuff help?

BTW the Rebel 90's growl!!!!!

Looking great Andy. As you've mentioned, black shows up every little imperfection. I think if I was to do one, I'd make it metallic to hide some of those imperfections as much as possible.
If you have Meguires ScratchX you might be able to remove some of them. Perhaps try in an inconspicuous spot.
